Snakes Chase President Out Of Office:
President George Weah’s presidential residence in Liberia has been temporarily abandoned.
Snakes were discovered to have been infested the building. According to the presidential media aide, Smith Toby; said that the house needs to be fumigated thoroughly and that all the staff are to vacate from the premises until Monday, April 22. Besides, the situation has made president George Weah to temporarily abandon his official villa and work from his private residence.
The presidential press secretary, Smith Toby, disclosed that two (2) black dangerous snakes were found in the foreign affairs ministry building. As stated by him, all the staff are to stay away from the premises until Monday, April 22. “Just to ensure that creeping and crawling things get fumigated from the building”, Toby stated. Moreover, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosts the office of the president, so it prepared an internal memo informing the staffs to stay home while they do the fumigation. “The snakes that chase president out have not been killed. There seems to be a little hole somewhere”.
Toby further reiterated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday, April 19, commenced thorough fumigation of the building.
