APC Set To Rig 2019 General Elections:
Some hours left to the National Assembly and presidential general elections, the Kano police command on Thursday, February 14, reported that it has impounded seventeen (17) sacks containing thumb-printed ballot papers in Sabon Gari area of Kano.
According to the report by Daily Nigerian, the ballot papers, have already been thumb-printed on the box of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress APC. The report gathered confirmed that the ballot papers have been moved to the police headquarters for proper investigation.
The Nation reports that the spokesperson of Kano police command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, disclosed that two (2) persons were arrested with the sacks containing the ballot papers. He stated: ”The ballot papers are not yet thumb printed and not real’, he states categorically. They are just specimen used to enlighten voters.”
